Rolex for Cartier real?

In an old family watch collection I found this Rolex Explorer II with Cartier's Insignia, WANT TO KNOW THE VALUE IN THE AUTHENTIC CASE, I found on the web a similar but with TIFFANY sign at 39k EURO.
Someone can help me?

If I remember correctly there should be some engravings from Cartier on the back of, or in bbetween the lugs

The Swiss made at the bottom of the dial is odd also.

The "Cartier" font/script on the OP's watch does not seem correct, particularly the capital "C."

OP, look at this thread. It has the same Cartier script as your watch and it was quickly determined to be fake. Im not saying that yours is but I think the consensus is heading in that direction.

100% agree, If you have the original papers, that would help

Rolex for Cartier real?

Methinks it's time to move the thread to WatchOut!!!

OP: Sorry for the bad news but the watch is not authentic as presented in those pictures you provided.

You can always take it to a Rolex shop or a certified watchmaker to open it up and verify whether the movement is Rolex or not.

+1

the story plus the fact that everyone who "finds" a watch also "finds" TRF with their first post every single time all leads me to believe its not authentic

Are there pics too? just curious
