Where is the best place here to put the word out about my SS Daytona white dial missing for a week?

First thing is to report it to the local police. They can enter it into NCIC.

Send me the info PM and when I go in to work tomorrow I’ll run it through the nation wide police pawn database. (Only shows those stores who participate, but you never know). Usually takes about a week for pawn stores to add their inventory to it.

Really hope you're able to recover the watch.

Very nice of you!

I hope you had it insured! Do you have to file the report if it's lost to be able to claim insurance?

Hope it all works out for you!

Not exactly sure. I think it was taken from my vehicle either valet or while the door was unlocked at home. yeah it sucks.

Does anyone know how often these are recovered. i mean if it were altered i wouldn't want it back anyway. You can make it untraceable without devaluing the piece right?

Tough lesson learned. No luck. Uninsured other than homeowners. I have to schedule items that I have acquired during my years of getting established. I am thankful today to have had one to lose. Just a reminder of how quickly material things can be lost.

Unfortunately the most painful thing is the popularity of the watch currently making it almost impossible to replace.

Thanks for the kind words and concern. Happy Thanksgiving!
