The Vintage Watch Company
Has anyone dealt with the "Vintage Watch Co? I see they have a collection of some very minty Rolex watches, also very expensive.

On Bond Street in London ?
Pretty prestigious. They have quite a selection, nice web-site too.

If you don`t know what else to do with your money then I suppose buying from a retail store in London will be fine,I hear they have a good selection.

Very very pricey but amazing selection
A lot of their watches are amalgamations that are then sold onto unsuspecting tourists You're better off looking on trf unless you have a moneytree out the back

Stay away from them! They do have a good selection but the prices are crazy. You can do better from here or other places for vintage Rolex.

Wow the people that pay those prices either have way too much money to care or very little knowledge about Rolex's.

This feedback makes me a little glad that I didn't end up buying from them when I was young and impressionable

I was in Burlington Arcade last weekend. A fantastic selection, but way overpriced. A few years ago I would not have realized this but TRF has taught me a lot, for which I am greatful.

I had a very bad experience with Vintage Watch Shop Burlington Arcade avoid this shop at all costs.
I was left a 1970's Oyster perpetual watch it had a little damage on the face I took it into Rolex who said they could repair it but would have to replace the face as it was a rare face they told me to take it into a vintage dealer for advice before doing any work. I went to the Vintage watch shop for advice - they were abusive, rude and dismissive and practically threw me out the shop. My watch is only woth about £3,000.00 but it is a genuine rolex with original parts. I have a few other watches one worth £12,000. I would never buy or sell from this dealer, as from their attitude they are not all they seem! |

The Vintage Watch Company
Massively arrogant, hugely over priced, and certainly not keen to deal with anyone that knows their Rolex history.

Yes all of these vintage pieces appear to be very “minty.” Makes me wonder if they laser weld and recut their cases to pass off as vintage minty vs vintage restored. I’m curious to know how the vintage lovers in TRF feel about this topic of laser welding and the vintage market. Is this a subject of debate or is this not a concern?
