$25k Budget - what watch would you add to this group?
Just out of curiosity.
$25k budget towards any one watch. Brand new or preowned (but used pricing based on mint examples only). I'm mostly interested in Rolex, but open to hear other brands as well. Also, "trusted seller" pricing applies. Don't care all that much for many complications. Date, GMT and Chrono are ok. Here's the group it would join: Audemars Piguet 15400 Blue Dial Tudor Black Bay Black Rolex 16710 Pepsi GMT Rolex 116610LV "Hulk" Rolex 116500 Daytona Ceramic |

Piece of cake. I'd pick some variation of a Calatrava.

I’d go with two for $25k.

I would be hunting for a 2nd hand 36mm Day Date in platinum. I think you can get one for that price!

Hey Chad,
For what it's worth, I'd look for a Patek. I'm really keen on the 5711 at the moment. Like you, I have the 116500 and something about owning the two hottest watches in the world is highly appealing. With your AP, you would have a collection within your collection with that pair of blue dials... Admittedly, I'm a total newbie when it comes to Patek but I believe these MSRP for $24-$25k. Needless to say, for someone that enjoys the thrill of the hunt, you would have your work cut out for you to find a mint example at that price. That Aquanaut Travel Time is a cool piece too and I know how much you like rubber, so if you're looking for something sooner than later I can see that fitting nicely in your collection. |

I vote DD40 in WG with the blue or green dial to add a dressy yet sporty option to your collection. My 2 cents. Not my picture, but a nice one. Cheers!
