Yep the third wheel has an extra long pivot, this extra third wheel is pressed fit on that pivot and drives the seconds pinion. This was very common back in the day, the Rolex cal. 15×× has it as well
Oh I see what you mean - so that extra little finger of a bridge next to the ratchet wheel holds the seconds pinion? I guess that’s how they managed the central seconds hand back in the day. Pretty ingenious. Thanks for the education and enjoy that beauty of a watch!
