I love Tudor, but would send the Tudor and Seiko packing for the Explorer.
The PO can fill the void when you miss the two. I had a similar experience- I’ve had my PO 2500 for 10 years now and it has been a workhorse for me. |

Omega and Tudor swap for a Rolex Explorer?
The PO 2500 has been my workhorse since 2012, never failed, never serviced. It’s a beautiful sports watch and it’s a keeper for me.
So I vote for you keep yours Tekken :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Like many said I would just add Explorer because you got a beautiful collection. It would be Tudor if you really need to let one go for funding.

I would sell the a Tudor for the Explorer. The 41 version doesn’t sing to me as much as the 58 does.

I think the Explorer is awesome. I’m not as fired up about the Omega as evidently you and most everyone else is but if you can’t let go then add

The general consensus seems to be that Omega > Tudor. In my opnion, the Tudor has a better bracelet and is surprisingly more accurate than my PO. The PO, however, is aesthetically a better-looking watch.

Wore the Tudor today and it’s definitely vulnerable. I even took it off halfway through the day and put my Seiko SKX009J on.

Definitely boils down to personal preference. The MM300 already fills your need for a diver, so I don't think there's anything wrong with swapping out the PO and BB for an Explorer.
It's just up to you whether you're ready to part with them.

I hear you mate. Yesterday I went on the list for the Explorer. AD said about 6 months. I went to put the Tudor on for sale and returned it to it’s home. Took a photo, stood back and couldn’t go through with it. Looks like a 5 watch collection after all. IMG_6898.jpg |

I think you have one too many similar looking divers, so I agree you should dump one. As much as it hurts, probably the tudor.
But I think you could find a much more interesting piece to replace it with than an explorer in my personal opinion. How about a Grand Seiko, since you love seikos already. |

My Marinemaster is grand enough. I can’t take GS divers seriously. I do like the snowflake and some GS watches on leather though. |

It looks like you made up your mind to go with 3 divers (MM, Black Bay, PO), GMT, and Explorer. For my taste, the collection is a little monolithic. I would change it up to have GMT, 1-2 divers, and a blue dial DJ.

The only watch in your collection I would even think of trading in is the Tudor.

Firstly the EXP1 does NOT have a date. A crime IMHO. Datejust every time for me.

I’m going to try them both on in a few months and decide. I actually like the blue dial Milgauss too however I don it want another piece with PCL’s even though I love it on my GMT. |

After getting rid of a few watches and regretting it, I’m not a fan of selling/trading anymore really. If you truly don’t want them, go for it, but you should be able to get an Explorer pretty much anytime you want. I’d hold onto the watches you have and just wait until you can buy the Explorer.

Me personally I would probably sell them. Im a functional person and you have a dive, your have a gmt, then you would have an everyday kind of watch. Serving 3 purposes. That is me though.
