Gen Stafford Apollo 10

Had an opportunity this past week to meet Gen Thomas P. Stafford Commander of Apollo 10 at a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Great gentleman. Told some great stories. He was wearing the Apollo Soyuz 35th anniversary watch of which he was also the commander.

A great American hero...first general in space, gemini, Apollo, and Apollo-Soyuz missions, 500+ hours in space...

what an honor.

...and of course, the watch thing is really cool too.

Oh, I’m guessing this is the Topper event. I heard they were having signed speedie boxes available to purchase. Thinking of picking one up for a unique touch. My sales guy sent me a picture after the event. Did you pick one up?

It was at the Topper event! I did not pick one up, but they were flying out the door.
