My first Grand Seiko

Picked up my first GS at the weekend the sbgx091 and couldn't be happier. Also the only Quartz in my collection but this 9f caliber is not your average Quartz movement

Cool watch. Wrong section. I prefer the old dial on this one - which yours has.

Great choice! Definitely not your typical quartz watch.

My first Grand Seiko

That's a beautiful watch, congratulations. I also have a quartz Grand Seiko, an SBGV027 with a 9F82 caliber. In 6 months it hasn't lost or gained a second. I'm thrilled that my Datejust is running +2 spd. My GS gets equal wrist time with my mechanical watches. Can you post a closer picture of the face?
