Do it. I think the white dial SO will look a lot more at home at the beach and pool than a DJ. I would buy from a grey however. You could get one for 2500-3k brand new. I think the SO is one of the best tool watch divers there is. May I suggest the blue SOH 42? Love mine, that is why I mention it. I think Rolex is overrated. No sense waiting for a watch. Silly.

I have both SO 42 white on blue rubber clasp. Great watch, adjustable glide lock type on clasp. +1sec per day. Love the sub no date also, but at less than half the price, the SO is the one I take to the beach.

I agree with this.

The Breathing would just be a placeholder. Never settle for a watch.

The SuperOcean is a great watch but I wouldn't buy one without a healthy discount. If you're wanting a vacation watch to scratch the itch prior to your Rolex arriving, I'd get a Seiko.

Well it's still a Rolex forum, so of course everyone will tell you to pay three times as much for a Sub. I wouldn't though. Go for the super ocean. Omega PO is another good one. A Rolex isn't superior to either Breitling or Omega, TBH. I should know, I own them all.
