Aquanaut Travel Time on metal bracelet
Dear forum members,
I am curious on the strap possibilities for the Aquanaut Travel Time. Unlike many other people, I do like the metal bracelet for the Aquanaut that is delivered on the 5167/1A001. I prefer the Travel Time version though (5164A-001), which is a little bit thicker than the standard version. I was wondering if you can fit the steel bracelet on the Travel Time. I have been looking into this on the internet but cannot find it. The only thing I found was on Youtube with a Travel Time user that put on the green rubber strap from the white gold version. It appeared to me that the lugs are a bit thicker on the Travel Time and therefore the green strap did not fit as nicely as it does on the white gold version of the standard Aquanaut. It could therefore be that the rubber strap of the Travel Time version is thicker than the rubber strap of the standard version. Therefore my question is: does the steel bracelet fit on the travel time, and if yes, does if fit nicely or do you see that it is not thick enough for the lugs of the Travel Time? Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me. |

There is a thread with it on the bracelet. If I am lucky enough to get a 5164 I’ll try putting the bracelet from my 5167 on it.

Thank you SRVRF and SL BRABUS for your kind responses. And very nice pics, that answer my question perfectly well. What a gorgeous watch.
Does it fit like ‘it is indeed possible’ or does it fit like it fits the regular 40mm Aquanaut? I thought that maybe the lugs of the Travel Time would be a tad thicker given the fact that the Travel Time case is a bit thicker as well? |

I know many people prefer it on a strap, but as someone who has the 5167 on both a strap and bracelet, they're both great. I love being able to switch.

After carefully looking at the second picture (wrist shot) it seems to me that the bracelet fits exactly as it fits the regular (non Travel Time) Aquanaut. Is it correct that the lugs of the Travel Time are exactly the same despite the fact that its case is thicker?

I feel as though there’s a slight discrepancy but people have been installing the 5167 green rubber straps on the 5164 for some time.

Totally agree Seems to have slowed down recently as no one can get the green straps, but correct never fits perfectly |

I prefer the rubber strap as well, but was surprised I liked the look of the metal on it more than I thought I would.
