My poor 911sc
Dam my Rolex obsession!!!!!!! Because of it I have stopped giving my 911SC all the love I once did. The 911 is getting jealous! I have no desire to get back to the interior restoration I was doing. Oh well.

Don't do that! There's room for both passions. While I love my rolex, I also take pride in my 1974 Cadillac Eldorado and my recent addition, a 1999 Carrera. While I get great enjoyment out of my watch and this forum, I also enjoy my car meets with the Porsche club and Cadillac club. Those meets are a ton of fun and add to my passions.

In many ways, the 911SC is a lot more fun to drive than even the newest 997. It's stiff suspension and tight, heavy steering and brakes make it feel more like a sports car than the heavy luxo-GT car it has become. If you've got one of these cars, I'd certainly hold on to it and take care of it. Here are some pictures of the last model 911 SC before the Carrera was introduced in 1984.

I let go of my 928S4 years ago :-( miss her dearly, nearly picked up a nice 911SC couple years ago but the other half reminded me about baby seats and finances LOL so its the family sedan for me.

Well, some cars are just better equipped for transporting small children than a 911. |

I feel your pain. My dad's been doing a frame-off restoration of his 356B for the last few years. I love driving that car- can't wait until it's done!

Sorry for the hijack. Here's an action shot of a 911SC to start bringing it back around. |
