Incoming 5990

Finally picked up my 5990 today. Feels great to have a Nautilus back on the wrist after I made the mistake of letting my 5980 go earlier in the year.

Couldn’t be happier with it. Will post more detailed thoughts in a day or two.

Congrats!!! So now that you have the 5990, which one you prefer, 5980 or the new 5990?

Agree, especially the chrono, which I can actually read now

I prefer the 5990, and by quite a lot.

The 5980 is a very nice watch. I always liked it, but never really loved it. It had too many little things that just bugged me a little, which is why I sold it in the end. The 5990 fixes most of those things, and for me anyway improves on the 5980.

I don’t think you quite realise how good the Nautilus is until you’ve owned one, sold it and then got another. I think I recall you’re on your second 5712?

Thanks Sam. There were a few things, don’t want to list them all, but the main ones were I felt the bulls eye dial was too dominant, I thought it sat too high on the wrist, I thought the chrono pushers were at an awkward angle and I struggled to read the chrono.
