Let's set up a GTG for early 2015! Maybe we can pick a spot closer to LA for us that live in the LA/Ventura County area?

Weekends are probably best for everybody.

The question is, do we want to have a GTG near many boutiques or not? If yes, we are limited, of course. Beverly Hills and South Coast Plaza are the first two places that come to mind. There have been GTGs at both locations already, I believe.

Any ideas for the LA area? Malibu maybe??

FYI - check with TRF member mruhland31. As he's organized the last couple of Beverly Hills meetings. Here's a review of one from last year. If it's in the LA area I'll try and stop by.

Malibu or Beverly Hills for an Orange County GTG?

South Coast Plaza has plenty of candy if browsing is going to be on the itinerary. We could put on the feedbag at say Maggiano's and walk right across the parking lot to the mall. Wouldn't even have to move our cars.

Yes, you're right. Since this is the most current Socal GTG thread, I thought we could discuss the possibility of pushing the next GTG toward LA so that more people would be able to come.

It appears there is interest in having another Orange County GTG and I would be more than happy to coordinate it.

I would like to propose some dates in both February and March. Please PM me or reply to this thread with your interest and what dates work best for you. I was thinking we can meet in the early afternoon around 1 or 2PM at a local restaurant near South Coast Plaza, very similar to what we did before. If I remember, most of us preferred meeting in the afternoon due to family commitments in the morning.

Here are the proposed dates:
Saturday February 7th
Sunday, February 8th
Saturday, February 14
Sunday, February 15th
Saturday, February 28th
Sunday, March 1st

I will also have Rolex magazines (volume #3 featuring the Sky-Dweller), as well as a few Watch Time magazines, and some cool hardbound Rolex books that are paired with a special issue portfolio guide to the Rolex magazine to hand out to attendees only. Should I not have enough to go around, I will probably do some sort of raffle as I want to keep it fair. Details to follow once we have a final headcount.

Just a quick thought. I think we should eliminate, Saturday, February 14, from the mix. If I show up at a Rolex function on Valentines Day, I could be terminated with extreme prejudice by someone very close to me!

I'm definitely interested in a GTG. Regardless of whether it's in LA or OC areas....i'm in South Bay (El Segundo area) so it's a drive either way.

I'm interested for another meet at well. OC or LA is fine with me as well.

I just looked at my calendar, and my only free date is 2/28 or 3/1.
