Salmon 5270p or 5711a-010/5712a/5164a
If you were given the choice to be given (and subsequently keep)
salmon 5270p or 5711a/5712a/5164a what would you take? |

Easy for me - definitely the 5270p. The other 3 are great watches, but I wouldn't want/need all three of those. That is WAY too much bezel to scratch.
For fun, the best alternative (although not an option in your hypothetical) is the 5270p and the 5712/1a. . . .

5711 is timeless.
5270 will be upstaged by a new or old release.

Choice B any day. You get 3 watches that can be worn at all occasions!

5270p is in a different league to the other three! I love the Nauts and Aqua, but given the choice I would have 5270p any day (and a Rolex as my beater). Not a fair comparison in my book!

The nautilus and aquanaut are in wild demand, but the fact of the matter is neither of those showcase Patek's true skill. 5270P does, but my opinion would be to get one of each because they're all wonderful watches. The only reason I say this is if 5270P is on the table, adding 5711 and 5164 shouldn't be that big of a stretch. You wouldn't need to buy another watch at that point, sell the rest if you have to, because you'd have about the most perfect 3-watch collection

5270P no contest. I’d take a grand complication over any pretty face way he’s anytime.

The voting here makes no sense. Does everyone know what a 5270 P is?
