Sub 16613 TT Black or Blue?

I'm after the search for a Sub. 16613 steel and gold and I like both blue and black.
Is blue really the best value? I like black because it is less flashy. What do you think? As I said, I like both but I would like to have the one that holds more value. Thanks friends.

Who cares about the value? Get the one you like...for me that will always be blue. But, it sounds like you prefer the black, so...

I did the black/gold. For me it is more subtle and a bit more rare. Either way I think the 16613 is the best deal around and will hold value or go up. I got a complete no holes set 5 months ago for less than 5 digit SS watches are going for today. I have SS covered in the rest of my collection and found it a great way to get into a 5 series sub. Best of luck.

On a relative basis, if any gold Rolex can be considered low key, it would be the black

ive owned both , and wore both ,,, yep the blue grabs more attention , the black is quieter ,, but what i would hold out for in either colour , or both colours , is the gold thru clasp version , mark my words you will kick your self if you dont get it at the start , as its an expensive swap out later.

Most will say blue, I am sure. But I really like the black model for something a bit different and somewhat more understated. Can't go wrong with either.

I think that the Black TT is the best looking watch Rolex ever produced.

The black is so "Handsome and masculine" but the blue has a little flash and pops. Ive had both, flipped both, and one of the two is on the horizon.....

If 5 digits has to be the sunburst blue, black is pretty flat, if you prefer black go for the 6 digits.

My vote is for the blue one but if you like the black because it's less flashy, then go for it. In all reality, it doesn't matter what I think but I appreciate you asking me my opinion!

Go with the one you love most the value difference would be minimal. I love the blue one and will own another one day. It is the one I let go that I want back. It was my wife's favorite too.

Thank you guys. Apart from those who preferred the two colors won the black with 11 votes. The blue had 9 votes. I'm going to turn 75 and think it's the right one.
Thanks again
