Mine was an Oris TT1 diver in black. Passed it to my little brother and he loves it.

First watch was a Star Wars watch in the late 70's. First real watch was a Tag Kirium automatic I bought around 1999.

My first "real" watch was the Datejust 16234. It was a gift from my Mother. At that time, it was to celebrate my success at the company I worked for at that time back in 2004.

That watch never was worn everyday for the better part of two years until the purchase of my Submariner Date 16610 LN in 2006.

To this day, it is still my favourite watch. Just something about it being my first "real" watch, it will always have a special place in my heart. I cannot see myself ever parting with this watch due to its strong sentimental value.

My first was a Bulova, which I bought myself after I graduated college. That's where it all started. Seven years after a number of affordable purchase(gshock/victorinox/ect), I finally purchased my submariner.

My first "real" watch was my 14060. It was timex, seikos or casios before that. There were no intermediate brands for me. I decided after a hard-earned bonus to treat myself to a nicer watch. I always heard Rolex made very nice watches. After a little looking around, I decided I liked the sub the best, and I liked the clean face of the Submariner. I found a nice gently used 1999 sub for a great price back in 2000. The previous/original owner bought it and flipped it as he wanted the date one instead.. it was basically new only worn a handful of times by the previous owner. I've had it ever since and wear it just about every day.

My dad's gold 1930's Longines. My mom had it restored and gave it to me on my 21st birthday. It has a gold Gemex band that's developed hairline stress fractures over the years, so I wear it carefully only on special occasions. It's indented where my dad buckled it, which makes it all the more special to me.

For me it was a Disney Goofy Timex in 1971' I had just learned to tell time.
When I graduated High School my grand parents gave me a nice Sekio two tone.
I can honesly say that those two are the ones I remember above all. But I'm guessing those don't fit your "real" watch critiria. LOL
I bought my self a Breitling Cockpit for my self..Just because.. That would be what your looking for.. That was Two years ago.. Since then.. it's been non-stop

Tag Heuer Aquaracer 39mm quartz that I wore as a daily wearer and beat the living crap out of it and it is still running strong.

I own that, two Breitlings and now two Rolexes.....and I still enjoy that watch for all the good years it gave me FWIW!

This awesome Rado Coupole, which i have been beating on in industrial settings since 1998. All titanium and aircraft ceramic, light as a feather and never loses a second. Wear it to work every day. Hardest crystal i have ever seen on any watch.

In 1974 a friend called and asked if I wanted to buy his Submariner for $175.

Wish I still had that one...

I guess it was this one...

Seiko World Timer and I have to say that I did travel the world with this time piece with no disappointments! 20 plus years ago.

Still have it.

First swiss watch was a Movado at 22 years old before I really knew much about watches. Got my first big paycheck at my job fresh out of college and went out and dropped what at the time I considered a lot of money for a watch. Who knew in two years that would be the most inexpensive Swiss watch I own ha
