I have had the date in black, flipped to get the Hulk, very nice but wonder if I'm not gonna get bored of it, and I really like the non date, actually prefer it to the date version...

You're right Rashid, it was hard to let go. I've been searching for the 'one' or really the 'main one' since I'm not going down to one watch if I can help it and flipped a lot of watches in the process. My DSSD was the closest I've come so far, but I finally came to grips with the fact that it isn't a 'one watch' watch and let it go - although I think it might come back some day as a second watch.
I never warmed up to the new lugs. Even the slightly thinner GMTc lugs look better to my eye. So, I've been looking at a few options. PO, GMT, ExpII and SDc. After a bunch of time in the Hong Kong airport with every watch brand known to man last week, I finally decided. The new SD will be here on Friday hopefully. I didn't like it the first time I had it in hand, but over the last 6 months, it's really grown on me. It's not my perfect watch, but it's close. I'll post up some pics once it gets here. |

Sad to see it go. I sold mine a while back, wish I still had it.
Can't wait to see what returns!

Congrats! If you're going to trade away a 114060, the Sea Dweller is the one to do it for. You're going to love it!

The 114060 is nice but I think the SDc is even nicer. Great upgrade imo. Post pics when you get it and hang in there for the wait.. It will be totally worth it

Congratulations on the incoming SD, that sounds like a gut wrenching decision. The upside is that SuBs are very easy to replace .

Confirmed for Friday! Anyone else ever find that the only time they mind holidays and weekends is when it interferes with a watch delivery?

I had the old Sea-Dweller, then the 114060. I prefer a date if it's offered, so I flipped for the 116610, and then the 116610LV. I finally decided that the lugs were too much for me, and went back to the GMT Master 1675. The Daytona, however, is the best of both worlds - modern and svelte.
