I know they are used, but heck some are less than a year old, some even bought new this past summer, I thought they would hold up better than nearly a grand less than MSRP in 6 months.

The Black Bay for me was a watch I fell out of love with, so I can see it happening to others. Therefore, with so many on the secondary market the prices have to be competitive.

Yes, that's about the meat of it. Nothing against the watch...

You can pick up a BB for $2600 with SS bracelet. And that price is negotiable of course. I'm glad I sold mine before the plunge. But a great opportunity to get one now.

I bought the Red version and really loved it when I got it. The Modern Vintage feel and that Burgandy bezel was stunning!

However, I honestly never fell in love with the snowflake hands. Also, every time I looked at the watch straight on it reminded me of all those homage watches on eBay (please don't flame me). Looking at the watch from the side or angles was awesome though.

I traded the watch into my local dealer and ended up buying it back, so I really really did like the watch, but I realized I enjoyed looking at it more than I enjoyed it on my wrist.

I ended up selling it to my cousin, and when I see it on his wrist I want one.... I just know better now and enjoy it from a far.

I can buy them new for around 2200 us before tax.

Also people saying they lose value because they are Tudor.....so do Rolex. Actually Tudors new are cheap and they hold their value well, and compared to a rolex they lose a lot less.

Go buy a new two tone daytona and try to sell it used the next day and tell me how much you lose.

From my local AD, I converted my Canadian price to USD

I have a good relationship with them. That's why it is important to deal with an AD.

And when I purchase Tudors its multiples at once.

I recently bought the blue version which was less than a month old on the warranty card for a great price on SS bracelet. It's a great daily/beater imo. I've been wearing my red one far more than my Sub. Of course I love my sub more but BB is still a great watch. No problems so far.

But, to be onset, if they were more wouldn't you buy a new one instead?

LOL.. and I have a great relationship with DavidSW. I email him, cut him a check, and he mails me a watch - for the best price I can find. Dealing with ADs isn't important. I've purchased 11 Rolex watches, and two were brand new from an AD - the rest were all sourced here. Once it hits my wrist, it doesn't matter where it came from, but my wallet reflects the savings I get from David, Kirill, or George.

More expensive for me to buy on TRF than my AD. If you can do better on TRF then that is great!

I also like supporting a local business

I have bought on TRF before though, as well as David SW and he is great!
