Incoming SS Sky-Dweller

Well, I can't say it was ideal timing given my recent DD40 purchase but I was still delighted to get the call on this today...

Safe to assume they have finally been released in the UK!! I wonder whether each AD got one of these pieces like the SD43 or whether each AD will get them at different times and different allocations?

I was told by my AD (Goldsmiths Metrocentre) at the weekend that Aurum have 24 watches available between the 48 stores :(

My AD got a SS blue dial on Saturday (2nd September)

After seeing the blue dial at a Basel 2017 presentation, the blue was identical to the blue on the dial on my WG DD40 so changed my order to TT SkyDweller with white dial.

No news as to when by AD will get my watch

Great inside info! That will be a mix of the blue black and white dials so not that many! I have my name down for the blue but black also looks great! Are you going for one??

Makes sense buddy! I like the blue and black but probably go for the blue as I have recently bought the sd43, which of course had the black dial.

Thanks guys. They had the TT with gold dial in too, which they let me have a look at. I have to say, weird as it sounds from someone who just bought a YG DD40, it was a bit punchy for me in terms of sparkliness - albeit that was under powerful AD lighting. That said, it was still a very nice watch and the dial was lovely. White dial will tone it down though, definitely.

That is such a beautiful watch. I'm glad it doesn't have a smooth bezel or I would have to have one.
