I would only take his or her advice with a grain of salt. That site is geared towards fashion and therefore the watches he or she critiques or advises on are usually geared towards trends of the season.

A quick scan of their articles proves my point. One article praises Rolex, the other abhors it.

I've never read him but having a monikor like Watchsnob I'd assume he's some sort of cartoon type character with "outrageous" opinions.

He's a complete plum- he also changes the spelling of his 'best friend's' name from Seamus to Sheamus in his articles.

Hey

On one of his articles on vintage timepieces, he said that he got a Hermes watch on ebay for a steal.

Obviously not the first brand that comes to mind when we think of vintage watches. More like a brand you think about when you see ladies handbags.
