Clasp too long on Sub C for small wrists?

Happy New Year,

I've been reading about how many links to remove for a 6.5" wrist and from pictures, it seems the larger clasp extends the length of the back of the wrist.

My question to small wrist Sub C owners:
In terms of comfort and aesthetics, is the clasp too long? especially compared to the 16610?

Would you recommend the Sub c for your best friend with small wrists?

Small wrists are a curse for the modern watch lover. I know exactly the problem you are talking about. You might want to look at brands that have a clasp that slides into itself. Such as on some Omega SM's.

Hi Clock. I also have small wrist and the AD seemed to think that a Sub C would easily fit my wrist, which is why I bought one. I don't know my exact wrist measurement other than I had to take 6 links out of an Omega Speedmaster to fit. If you can wait, I should be picking up the Sub C mid week and I will be able to let you know the fit and take pics of it on my wrist.

I have fairly small wrists and I was a bit worried about the clasp as well. I was able to take out three links and the watch fits perfectly with no issues with the length of the clasp.
