Incoming Lion SBGC231 Spring Drive 20th

Spring Drive 20th Anniversary Limited Editions Chronograph GMT 9R96 - SBGC231

Found this piece in a department store in Tokyo~

Tried it on and couldn’t take it off...

The lion is now following me everywhere :-)

Btw, the sales told me another spring drive 20th anniversary limited edition SBGA403 is coming soon, anyone interested?

Congrats! I tried this on a few weeks ago and loved it, waiting to see the new Prospex LX before making my summer Seiko purchase.

Looks great on you, enjoy!

6.5 inches, on some photos look a bit big on my wrist. It’s thick but very light as it’s Titanium. See it in person won’t feel bulky at all, I’m sure a bigger wrist will looks even better.

I’ve worn mine everyday for over 6 weeks now and it’s only 2 seconds fast since! Not enough posts to upload a picture unfortunately.

Yes, and 44.5mm is a big contrast compare to the 38.5mm 5230

Wonder if GS will introduce different dials for this case?

I think so, they will put more dial as usual.
But titanium is the best fit material for this thick case, else will be too heavy to wear.

No hope for cheaper model then :). They might use the less expensive 9R86 in a steel case.

I guess SBGA403 has higher potential for different dials and material, it’s 2mm thinner.
