I think your right. I also think, the more sales people there are at the AD exponentially decrease our chances of getting one. I guess it may be survival of the fittest between them to score one for their customer.

By all accounts I am lucky. Lucky to still have a great smaller AD that takes care of customers. Lucky to have a great sales woman that seems to get allocated pieces for her own customers. Lucky to have been an enthusiast and had some friendships before the price madness started. These watches are trickling in I hope. Good luck.

Congrats and great to hear you have a solid relationship with your AD. Not all AD's are the same but many are run by people who love watches and are more than happy to help another watch enthusiast out if they have gotten to know you.

Congratulations! It’s a great looking watch and they seem to have nailed the colours now.

This is my next one... got on the waiting list a few days ago. I do hope Rolex are increasing production of these. It does make sense... Consolidating the BLRO and BLRN lines whilst (temporarily?) ceasing to make the 116710LN argues the point of prioritising efficiency, numbers and a focus on intent on these references. As the months progress, perhaps we’ll be able to tell if more of these models appears at ADs.
