Leather watch strap and clasp for a DateJust II

Hi,

Any recommendations for a premium leather watch strap and clasp for a Rolex DateJust II. I see there’s quite a choice out there but which do people recommend ?

Thanks in advance

I have an Everest leather strap for my Explorer, expensive, but a good fit and really good quality. I opted for the style where I use my Oyster bracelet deployment clasp. I also have a couple of leather straps from Watch Gecko, again reasonably priced and good quality. With regard to Rolex logo buckles, they are always on Ebay, (some attached to straps) I have never bought one, and you do see genuine ones in 'for sale' on this forum from time to time.

I wouldn’t put a strap on a DJ but that’s just me.

I have put a leather or rubber strap on all my Rolex watches at one time or the other. However, never on DJ41... The DJ41 is for my formal wear, with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. That could be the reason...

The DJ may look good on a leather strap as it does not have the sports type bezel found on GMT/Sub/Daytona.
