Thank you for all the kind comments. I must admit, I was pretty close to taking a pass as I didn't plan to make a purchase yesterday. Not picking up the Daytona would have been a bad mistake though. And, yes, I did think about buying several but my wife was with me and she is still learning about how things work in the watch world. When I showed her the white Daytona going for $22k on Jomashop, she immediately was in favor of the purchase...
