That is my wrist. Had a TT 36 DJ before and and even a 39MM Omega Deville, sold one and have the other to my wife. It felt too small to me.

I think I'd take a black OP39 over this. It is nice, and reminds my of my black 1600, but 36mm is just too small for a modern watch, imo. A 38mm DJ would be perfect.

I think the refinements are great, as you noted OP I liked the TT Datejust 36 updated lugs and was happy they followed that through on the steel. I've tried some 37mm watches from other brands that were fine on my wrist, but would have to see it this one wears alright but otherwise definitely a very sharp looking piece.

The refinements look great on the website. Wondering if they still have the alternating black and red date, I preferred the all black date.

I'm excited, and the sunburst black dial sounds interesting. Curious to see how it'd look ifl.

I may be in the minority, but I really like the Roman numeral chapter ring on the stick dial. I'm sad to see it go...

I actually like the new model. I was looking at the old model black dial about a month ago and while the old super jubilee bracelet with hidden clasp was interesting, it felt a bit dated to me. I had the same feeling about the old dial design as well but I couldn't really put my finger on why I felt that way. Because of that gnawing feeling I couldn't pull the trigger on it. The new black and silver dials look really interesting to me. I can't wait to see one in person with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.

I think the new 126234 is spot on and will get one later this year.

I had the older 116200 and loved everything about it except the fat lugs. Ultimately this bloated look is what caused me to sell it.

The 36mm size is perfect IMO. Again IMO, a lot of the photos of larger watches posted here - worn above the wrist bone, instead of below - look way too big to my eyes. Ah well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I already have a white 36mm Datejust and have

been waiting to see if they were going to have the easylink extension on the Jubilee bracelet. I hope they are available by this summer, I'll take black dial with fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet.

As long as they release more dials — then this is the DJ I’ve been waiting for. New movement, WG, blue stick dial please.

Still can't seem to find an answer to a question I asked a few weeks ago: What does this likely mean for the OP line? Can we expect a no-date version of the same movement, with the same power reserve, and the same case updates, and when?

All their watches will get the new movement eventually. Just don't know when.

My sentiments exactly, I never liked the roman chapter ring, was a show stopper actually.

Really like what they did, on the radar ....

I always had reservations about the older dial with the Roman chapter ring, because I felt like it framed the dial and made it wear smaller. Now that the dial has been simplified and "opened up" to a degree, I can't wait to see one of these in the flesh.

Last time there was such a big redo, (around '04?) was the OP introduced the same year as the DateJust, or did it come the following year at Basel?
