GMT Master II Jubilee Bracelet details

Could some one post some pictures of the new Pepsi GMT Jubilee bracelet and clasp to show the details of how it works. I do not have a local dealer to go see one (not that it would be that easy to find one anyway). I have worked a deal to trade my older SD for one with my favorite dealer where I used to live, but I have never seen one. Thanks in advance, I appreciate any pictures and/or descriptions.

Nice! Hard to source the jubilee? Any modifications to the BLNR MK1 (first time I’ve used that terminology!) needed? Price?

Thanks

My AD was able to source it. There was some miscommunication when my BLRO came in and it was sold by the time I got to the store. This is the least they could do for me. I think it was about $2k USD from what I remember.

I had the AD install it for me. It did take some different size/thickness spring bars.

Is it a perfect fit? I've seen posts suggesting that it looks fine but is a little fiddly where the endlink meets the case. Or is that just jiggle from the smaller springbars?

On the BLNR, it is perfect and on the LN, it was just about. The jubilee bracelet was installed by two different folks at the AD. It could just be related to experience or skills.

I remember it took the staff member at the AD a long time to find the right spring bars and install the bracelet on my LN.

That's good to know, thank you. I currently wear my BLNR on a leather strap, but I've always liked how it looks in pics on a jubilee. If the current GMT jubilee is a no-compromise fit with my BLNR, that's very tempting.

(Of course, sourcing one might be a separate issue.)

Most of the BLNR's you see on Jubilee's are probably on superjubilee (63600 or 63200 product codes). Like the BLRO jubilee, you need 1.8mm spring bars, instead of the regular 2mm spring bars.

I've been using the 63600 SJ bracelet with 1.8mm spring bars I got from Everest on my BLNR for a year. I like the look too.

Sourcing will be the issue for any of the options if you want to find them new (or just buy them used in the forums)

Post a picture of your BLNR on the leather strap. Although, most on the forum don’t like Rolex watches on anything but how Rolex intended it to be. I like to try different strap/bracelet on my watches.

I think there was a thread here on TRF in reference to the spring bars. It had to do with the thickness and also the ends. I think there was comparison made between Daytona and Subc spring bars.

If I find that thread, I’ll link it here.

Gosh, they better not only give you their next BLRO, but also next Daytona C or Sky D of your choice. Jubilee looks good on your LN and BLNR

They promised, whichever comes first - BLRO or Daytona C. They did offer Sky D white dial and it was tad big on my wrist. Rather, have someone who will enjoy that watch more than me have it.

Interesting. So all this talk of the older-gen supercases not accommodating the newer Jubilee simply comes down to spring bars? (The Jubilee looks great, by the way.)
