Wear the sub.

Call me traditional, but you should only wear white if you are ‘pure’. If you aren’t and wear white, it will be all anyone talks about. Maybe an older 16570 with an ivory dial...

The consensus here is pretty obvious so you have everyone's thoughts if that's what you were looking for. I personally would talk to my fiancé and get her input. She may prefer the Explorer too. If not, well, that's up to you.

I wonder if she’ll get the sub back in the divorce proceedings?

I was the first to reply to this thread and now I’m convinced: this had to be a joke all along. Right? Right?!?

wow....I guess I should have added that she chose the Exp II and I just agreed haha she said it matched better with the attire/mood of the day (day time wedding, small guest list - immediate family, 6 people for "social distancing" - which for the record Covid19 has wrecked any wedding plans/honeymoon we had) and she liked the idea of the "white" and the purity of the ceremony, so to all those worried, fear not, I have not failed the "test".

Nonetheless, yes she is awesome, I am extremely blessed, and she gifted me the Sub because she knew I wanted one.

She said she wanted to get something for me because I just bought her engagement ring and she was picking out yet another diamond riddled wedding ring, and not necessarily to wear at the wedding haha Sub at MSRP vs. engagement ring/wedding ring, was a good deal on her part.

The post do not influence the watch decision either way, but it is very interesting to see the different responses from different folks haha

I don't post too often on the forum, I mostly just wanted to share that I'm getting married to an amazing woman and I'll be wearing a Rolex ha

Congratulations on the watch and the wife! Both of them are keepers. Have a great wedding day!

PS - what a ruckus you caused! Before I saw your update I was going to add that my wife bought me my Panerai for our wedding day and I don't think it would have happened if I didn't wear it to the wedding!

Agreed. Except if I had ANY Rolex, Patek, etc. and my wife bought me a Dora the Explorer $8 watch as a wedding present... I’d be rocking Dora for that wedding, no questions asked.

She did not buy him a Dora the Explorer watch. She bought OP a Sub. Let’s make good decisions here OP!

In all seriousness, congrats on the wedding! I told my wife if she wants a ring I get a watch. It worked out in the end... she got a ring and I got no watch! You got yourself a keeper!

You may have a good sense regarding watches but I question your knowledge of women just give this a moment of thought then forget you even own the Polar Exp II until a few weeks after your honeymoon.

Tell your fiancee that you're having a hard time deciding which watch to wear at the wedding. Ask her if she minds you choosing the one that YOU prefer most.
. Now it's a test for both of you!

Just remember this:

If your wife says "I think X, but do whatever you want" she means "I think X, but do whatever you want. However, you will hear about it for decades, so is it worth it?"

I say ignore the cringeworthy advice you got from most people here and wear the watch YOU want. This is your wedding too. Happy husband, happy life.

Imagine she decided to wear a different ring during the ceremony than the engagement ring you gave her... how would that make you feel?
