Lavalier Jewelry Insurance

Hi there just wanted to ask fellow members if they have had any experience with Lavalier insurance for their watches. I know jewelers mutual is popular amongst forum members but my appraiser tells me that she has had clients who has had issues with claims in the past and she suggested I go with Lavalier instead. (She is one of the best jewelry appraisers in the USA. Her clientele includes many celebrities and she has clients that will fly her out to do appraisals such as clients from the Middle East and Africa)

I have both Jewelers Mutual and a State Farm Personal Articles policy - haven't heard anything negative about either.

I'd be curious what issues with claims she has heard her clients have experienced? Really didn't know that jeweler appraisers were that sought after or in demand. I wonder if the insurance company had an issue with valuation or circumstances surrounding the claim...

I use State Farm and their articles policy for my watches. I havent heard of any legitimate claims being denied
