Want to get rich?

Market a High quality leather band with solid end links like the Daytona for the submariner.

Problem with that is you'd have to carve recesses into your sub under the bezel to have it fit properly. Not sure many would do that.

Found a pic:

or have your jeweler cut and polish the daytona end links to fit your sub.

If the clasp is like $3000 (Bo correct me), I'm scared to think what the endlinks cost.

i would assume if one was going to do this you would buy the entire strap assembly. are you saying the entire leather strap assembly is over 3,000.00? if it is i can't imagine they sell many of those. why would the clasp be 3,000.00? there is about 600.00 worth of 18k gold in it.

Well, it's a matter of personal taste and preference, but the Sub needs a METAL bracelet, not a leather one! After all, it IS a diver's watch.

Sorry, looked around a bit and found that as a spare part, WG Daytona clasp is between $4500-$5000, for the clasp alone. Strap depending on luck, is anywhere between $300-800, just for the leather pieces. No info on the endlinks. Getting parts in the US is a challenge...
