Thanks for posting.Genuinely shocked that lot 167 only made what it did.It all depends what a couple of people are prepared to pay on the day.The hammer price on the gold Daytona reflects just how rare and how few a number of these were sold in the day.Daytonas were half the price of a Sub back then!

Thanks for the pics. The Red Sub I had my eye on went for over double the high estimate as I would have guessed, oh well.

$122K for a 1675 with mismatched hands, wrong bezel insert, a jacked date wheel, probably a doctored dial, and no box or papers?

That is LUNACY. There must be an asteroid headed to earth to end all life, and people have lost their frigging minds.
