Rolex Explorer 16570 Polar

Hello All: I purchased a RE2 16570 (3186). I’m thinking of picking up a few natos. Please post a picture of your RE2 Polar with a nato. Much appreciated!

Thanks Richard! I'm thinking of picking up a PhenomeNato gray nato, as I heard they are really great quality.

I tried mine on NATOs and still think the stock bracelet is the most comfortable and designed to match the head.

My personal taste is keeping the bracelet but you go for it. It’s a great reference the polar 16570.

Hey there. Been looking to purchase a 16570 (Polar) for a while now. Went to Hatton Garden and offered £3800 for one, but he’d only budge to £3950. I’m not sure if it’s worth that. It’s a 2001 with lug holes, been polished once or twice but it still looks smooth. Papers come with. I’d say the condition is 8/10. Is this a fair price in your opinion, will I be overpaying? Shall I wait for another to come along at a cheaper price? Thanks in advance.

Your polar looks great on a bracelet. This one's really growing on me. Congratulations.

Looks great - IMHO it is better than its successor - if upgraded bracelet and maybe maxi dial/hands per current sub/gmt ii etc it would be perfect!!!!

Hi mike. Mine not on nato but do you have chance to try on jubilee bracelet? It really looks good with jubilee in my opinion. Try it if you can.

Seems pretty fair to me. If you like it, I’d be getting that.

I agree. Your prices in the U.K. are different than the U.S., but that seems like a pretty fair price here. Drilled through lug holes is a plus IMHO. I wouldn’t let the fact that it’s from circa 2001-ish slow you down. Condition is king. As long as it has nice crisp lines, a light polish in its earlier life is ok. Post some pics of the prospective watch........so we can help you evaluate it.

It's ok, not overpriced but not a great deal either. If you like it buy it. I picked mine up for £2300 2 years ago those prices are long gone now unfortunately.

They work great on a nato as long as you stick with a thinner version.
