As long a you're ok with the size and style, personally it's not for me. It's the odd one out with these choices in terms of size. Want an annual calendar? That's where Patek steps in no questions asked.

I would take the 2 Rolexes. For full disclosure, I don't like the design of most Pateks - although I acknowledge the importance of the brand and quality of their watches.

5712 for me 🤤 . Sky Dweller is far too large for my wrist.

Love the 5712 but I would go for the Sky D and Daytona OF combo in this case.

The two Rolex and it's not even close. That would make a damn good two-watch collection.

First ...I’d ask what else do you have? Or will these/this be the only one?

I'm not interested in anteing up for the Patek; I'd much prefer the two Rolex as the Patek just isn't in my minds eye for an image of a watch!!! I know I'd go for the Stainless Daytona over the PM/OF model.

After some reshuffling, I will have the hulk, 15202, FPJ Bleu and speedmaster 60th anniversary

I’d say given your collection, it’s a toss up. I’m a fan of quality vs quantity, and filling a specific niche, when adding a piece for my collection. I’m not sure of your intent for your collection, but I’d get the Rolex, as I’m a fan of Rolex over anything else. But... the PP is outstanding..so any choice is a great one!

I like the 5712, but those two Rolex pieces are just fantastic. Tough one, but I'd go for the rolex pair.

There is a lot hype around the 5712 and it is a forum darling but when I got one I could agree it was nice but not that much nice !!
Very quickly swapped it out as for me there is a lot better value elsewhere for that kind of money. At the end of he day it is just a steel watch, with a nice dial (not great) and a moon phase. Bracelet is nice but no better than AP or Rolex (if you add glide lock). So could not feel where the premium was (many will have a different view I am sure !!!)
So I vote for the 2 rolex.

I can definitely understand that. I have the 5167 that will be moved out. It’s a great watch, but it’s a lot for your “base” movement time only patek

5712/1a wins for me easily here.

The Daytona is beautiful, but I'd prefer the WG Ceramic to be on Oyster, and unfortunately it's not. I think I would tire of it always being (and only able to be) on the Oysterflex. If the bracelet were available and it could be switched out for an Oysterflex, then the watch suddenly moves way up in terms of desirability, to me.

As for the Skydweller, how big is your wrist? I'm gravitating away from anything over 40mm - small is back in! :)

Great options either way, good luck with the decision.

I would go for the annual calendar Patek 5726-1A-001. If that wouldn’t be reachable then Rolex times two.

Between those 2 and the 5712a....the 5712. But I can think of other combos of the Rolex I'd pick over the 5712 in the same price range.

EDIT: Forgot I replied to this one already sorry OP. But I guess my opinion still is the same even after owning the 5712a.
