Actually both BLNR and BLRO are winning, but BLNR haters are waning.

As someone who has neither, but an owner of a sub date, I will likely get the BLRO. It provides a better variety of color and look than switching between a sub and a BLNR.

I'm getting the BLNR. Tried the WG BLRO the other day. No one liked it that much. It should be the same as SS. It looked dull. BLNR had more takers in my family.

Tudor GMT had more takers(from pics). This is from my folks and family, who have no clue or interest in Rolex. They were speaking purely based on aesthetic.

So I guess, BLNR+Tudor's GMT is my choice!

I voted BLRO but it's sad that they don't offer it on Oyster bracelet.

You lost me at 'if both were available today' Mr Porter.

Plus very few on the Forum have seen an SS Pepsi C.

I will never see one for sale in an Australian AD.

I might see a 'second hand' one before Xmas a but I doubt it.

The Batman is doing poorly in the poll considering we have all the owners protecting their investment. I wonder what it will look like when there are more pepsis out there ?

How is it doing poorly, it is ahead by over 11% points?

Hard choice. For me, the BLNR seems like it’s going to be the collectible one to own 20 years from now. First two-tone ceramic Rolex and first of it’s kind with blue/black bezel combo.

I think it’s a modern day classic.

Have the BLNR and on the wait list for the BLRO. Should I go with something else or stick with the BLRO, I am also a fan of he Hulk, but I love that blue/red combo. I think normal camera pics don't do it justice The Rolex pics on their website are truly amazing.

3) I don't think the case got all "that updated."
4) End of the day, I think the oyster bracelet is more versatile than the jubilee.
5) Value retention, I think both will retain fairly well but it's never going to be a Daytona.
6) People who really care about the heritage of BLRO will be buying 16710/16700's anyway IMO.
Yes, agreed on all these points (which is why I have an LN, but that's another story).

As to point 4, versatility. I was in the gym today, which has become too rare an occurrence, wearing my trusty LN and not giving a sh*t. Was wondering if I could wear a pepsi jubilee - or any jubilee - in the gym without feeling silly and the answer was ... nope. Hey if you are into the pepsi more power to you but it is a dressy watch.

And that pic of Arnold is ridiculous on so many levels.

Neither, the WG BLRO black dial is my choice, but prefer BLNR out of the SS models.

I'd got BLNR.

Don't get me wrong I like the new Pepsi, but I wish I probably would like it more if if it did not have the Jubilee bracelet. I know it's comfortable but it looks a little too flashy for my tastes on the new Pepsi.

This is a tough one. Going to give the slight edge to the BLRO simply due to the uniqueness of the Jubilee on a sport watch. However, I adore the BLNR and love mine.

Wow I can’t believe the BLNR is winning. I think both are fantastic watches. I own the BLNR and I’m hopeful to be an early PepsiC purchaser. However for the sake of this poll I voted Batman. Because I had to choose one and essentially reject the other forever I went with the oyster bracelet as it’s more versatile in my opinion. Thank god real life doesn’t work this way though!!

I prefer the blnr for the design, but the movement and history of the pepC is tempting. Any predictions as to whether the BLNR will start selling with a discount in the near future? I’ve been waiting forever for my name to be called from the Daytona list, and this might be the watch to bridge me for the next couple of years. I think a discounted price might give me the final nudge to pull the trigger on a blnr.

BLNR. It is the Polo and chinos watch for the ages.

The BLRO is a bit Gucci.

The real Pepsi stopped with the 16710 - that is the Polo and jeans watch for the ages.

Batman for me, as I still cant come in terms with the off colors of Pepsi from whatever i could see from the forum and the internet...also the BLACK - BLUE bezel kind of makes sense for Night -day function which is the USP of the GMT watch. Overall, BLNR gets my vote, though Jubilee will be missed.

BLNR

Got my hands on one last year within three months after being told it would be upto three years. Key to note: First ever bi-coloured Cerachrom bezel by Rolex. First ever use of Blue and Black Bezel.

Haven’t seen the 126710BLRO In person yet. However it comes with the updated 3285 movement, jubilee bracelet and the highly desirable “Pepsi” bezel. I’ve worn the 116710LN and 116719blro. The BLNR is both flash and conservative enough, having a bi-colour bezel that “pops” but isn’t too loud and isn’t too boring so that it looks like a submariner with oversized text. Indoors and in low ligh the blue mellows and it becomes nicely understated.

I still think the new BLRO should be re-branded Superman if it’s battling the Batman. Haha!

Battle: BLNR (Batman) or BLRO (SS Pepsi)

I have to add I love the advancements to the BLRO, I still prefer the aesthetics of the Batman.
