I tried all sizes of AP, none worked out for me. I even lost hope to buy an AP someday until yesterday when I tried the 37: it fits perfectly on my wrist. I have less than 6.5" wrists BTW. Besides, I was even planning to buy an even smaller DJ36.
Cheers.

Based on looks alone the ap looks too hood for my taste. Stay with the Daytona.

It is not just the watches but the brands and their position and history and processes and complications etc that set their prices. I like both watches and are both good value at their price points so I'd just choose the one that sings to you most... first and then get the other.

I'm on the same boat here.
I have almost the same wrist size and just got 15400.
It is too big due to lug to lug.
I'm getting 15450 for sure.
You already own a lot of Rolex, give AP a try!!

So glad I waited for the blue dial 15300! Need a seconds hand otherwise the “jumbo” was tempting.

I’d go with the Daytona, but that’s a tough decision. If you ask me tomorrow, I might change my mind and say AP.

I think i'd have to go AP on this one.
I've found that ive basically daily'd my 15400 over the past year - my daytona has gotten about a week of wear in that time! Its OK, i wore it today though!

Just checked your insta and i'd get your 15400 checked out.
Dial looks suspicious to me.
Your 116520 also looks funny to me.

Just flipped my Daytona 116500 for an AP RO 15400. No regrets as of yet.

Only you can decide but I agree with the point if you have to ask about the price difference you perhaps don’t “get” holy trinity watches.

If it matters to you, it might be worth mentioning an AP, and especially a 37mm AP, is likely not to hold its value nearly as well as a Daytona.

Are you even able to get the Daytona at MSRP? At retail the Daytona all day but I would never pay the quoted third party prices for one. The Daytona is my favorite watch and I have a PM one but have a 15450 coming in soon...
