Icon14 I Got "The Call"

I was driving to my next job today when my phone rings. I noticed the number was out of State, but which State HMMMM! I didn't recognize it but I picked up and a lovely ladies voice on the other end asks if I am Felly. I say yes and she says that she is so and so from brand X jewlery store and that we had spoke a month or so ago about some Rolex watches. (my pulse quickens) Yes, I do remember you I said. And the next words out of her mouth made my Millenium. What do you think she said? Yes, your absolutely right, she proceeded to tell me that her home office had just received a white dial SS Daytona and it was mine if I wanted it. So I told her I'd have to think it over............NOT!! Needless to say it is on it's way to me. It will be about a week and a half due to the slow Registered Mail, but I'll take slow but sure over fast and "is it gonna really get there". Anyhow, I'm just beside myself in glee and anticipation!

Thanks for listening!

PS Yes, I got it at MSRP ($7,900), no charge for shipping and got it before the price increase! Yeah BABY!

AWESOME!!!!!

I've been waiting to read news like this for a while. It does seem like it's been a while doesn't it?

And to think that you'll get it before the "I heard from my AD" price increase!

So, what kind of history do you have with this AD? I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering what it took to get this FABULOUS watch.

CONGRATS again! Can't wait for the pictures!!!!

I have never bought from this AD before. I just made a phone call about a month ago and talked to a very lovely lady that was very helpful and polite. She said she couldn't promise me anything but that she would do her best to get me the Daytona.

I forgot to mention that she said the next GV Milly they get will be mine if she has anything to say about it. I told her she Rocks!

Congrats on the Daytona! And at MRSP. Strange thing around here, though...when I bought my EXP II last Friday, my AD had a black SS Daytona and white TT Daytona in the case. He knows that I'm not a Daytona man, but offered them anyway. This could be a real sign. Somebody needs to call Ben over at the Federal Reserve and tell him we are definitely in a recession and a full blown 1929-type depression is pending. If ADs can't move Daytonas to folks on their "lists", Rolex needs to twice think about a price increase. That being said congratulations, on the new addition. Post pics when you get it.

That's a true shame that the black Daytona was sitting in the case, and a very rare scenario I might add.

Man, I wish this were true. I wish my AD would call and tell me that he has a SS White face to sell me because the one or two people ahead of me couldn't make the payment.

I wonder if TK saw the post earlier about the black dial SS Daytona sitting in an AD's case? Maybe someone should hook him up!
