One Rollie isn't enough for me. I love the GMT, but would like to have a couple of others. That'll have to wait, however, because I just dumped a huge chunk of change on an engagement ring for my girlfriend. The second Rolex is officially on hold.
In the meantime, the GMT will get a lot of play, in rotation with the SMP and others I own. Down the line, there'll be a Sub and a DJ. I love watches too much to own only one. |

I currently have two, a DJ and Sub, but seeing JJs Yachtmaster is driving crazy. I know sooner or later I'm going to pick up Yachtmaster, its just too beautiful looking to not have.

I work hard for my watches, so obviously one watch brand is not enough I have to venture into different brands of quality watches, who know what I'm missing out there,,life is short my friend!

For all intents and purposes, I am a one watch guy. I always wear my 1675. I do have an Omega day/date chronograph for timing purposes and a Seiko Black Monster for diving and other sports, but these only get worn when they are needed for a purpose.

I've got just the two....
However, I'd like a chrono...hmmmm Rolex, Zenith or IWC. I'd also like something a bit gentlet on a leater strap...JlC master calender perhaps. That way I'd have a watch for all occasions (but at the mkoment I'm just dreamin') J |

Couldn't agree more - I'm in the same process. Just got my first Rollie 2 months ago and I am trying to convince myself that I don't need another one. But I can feel a White Expy II sneaking up on me. I can tell it's just a matter of time before my Sub ND has company.

I've got one but am thinking about another. A friend of mine has had his no-date Sub since 1980 and that's all he needs. My uncle traded in his datejust for a Turn O Graph a couple of years ago but it means he still has only one.
Hard to believe but there are people like this out there

I could never have just one. If I had to whittle down my collection, the following would stay : Explorer 1, 14060, GMT II and 16610

Just like you guys can't resist the temptation to get another one, but for now I'm satisfied with my Sub ND, a Tag Heuer, Citizen Chrono and Seiko Divers Watch. But still craving for a new GMT II my next BABY...someday...someday my friend

I've had one TT OYSTER DATEJUST since 1986, and I thought, "this is a lifetime watch." It faithfully guided me in my travels, all over the world, from the ice to nice, from glaciers to surf. All was peaceful in the land of Bob for 21 years. Until last December, my wife said- "look at this beauty", and she directed my gaze to a white gold Daytona with a Meteorite Dial. Well, the way it stared back at me, I knew....and now I have a new friend...

Good point. A more secterian attitude on my end compells me to rationalize the price of one NIB Rolex as the cost of........
A sofa and love seat for our TV room Major landscaping projects, most not needed but they would look very cool. Savings...... A year of car payments..... A nice trip somewhere warm It is amazing how a new house dampens your enthusiasm for addtional high end toys. Fortunately my wife still lets me indulge my cigar and golf club habit. Although I credit my newly found stinginess to my wife the truth of the matter is every time I contemplate another watch I think of all the other things I could do with the money instead.... |

Too many watches means you have to spread your love to thin.

I have two and would like to get one more, but only one specific one. I do plan on getting a quartz watch as well. So 4 total for me.
I must admit that it'll be more challenging to decide which of the 3 Rolexes to wear. |

Does my wife's opinion count? Seriously, a year ago I would not have even considered a Rolex. I was totally happy with my Omega and Breitling watches. Then I started reading these $%#& forums and had to have a SS DJ. Now, I really want an LV Submariner. But it will be a while. I don't want to give up any of my Chronomat, my Seamasters, or Constellations to get it either. Apparentl, I am incapable of being a one watch guy.

I am going to stay with one watch for a long period of time. I cancelled any purchases in the near future. I am going to stay with my only one and beloved GMT II C. The more time passes by the more i like it and the more i feel attached to it

I hope to have three or four very different Rolexes and that's probably more than enough to make me happy. I wouldn't want to go flipping watches either so whatever decision I make, I will stick with.
