Datejust 41mm but which dial?

I have got a hankering to own/wear the new 41mm Datejust but I am unsure on which dial colour to go for!
I have tried them all on and these were my observations.

Blue Dial, looks great and I love the way that it changes colour under a different light. Is it a harder colour to get hold off?

Black Dial, is not a solid black, when compared to my Sub, but instead has a slight grey tint to it.

Rhodium Dial, looks amazing, but I am unsure if the dial reflects too much.

White Dial, sadly to me on a 41mm looks too much.

Silver Dial, was not one that I was keen on.

Which dial did you choose and why?

Photos are always welcome.

Once I have sorted that problem out, I then need to choose between fluted or smooth and Jubilee or Oyster

I have a blue, white and an Ivory TT DJ2.

The Ivory blends perfectly with the yellow gold of the TT.

The white dial is clean and crisp and I view it really as a summer watch and it is my only white dial Rolex I purchased in preference to the Polar Explorer.

The Blue dial is a stunner. Almost mesmerising the way it reflects light and the colour tones change. It’s truly beautiful.

There is no right or wrong with what you chose because it’s your watch and only you have to like it. If I were forced to chose between just one of the dial colours I have, then the blue dial gets it. It’s everyday beautiful in every way.

Silver as it goes with everything. However Rhodium, Blue, White, Black they are all great.
I like the combo of fluted bezel with oyster bracelet.

Me, too. If I were choosing right now, I think for me it would be black, fluted, Jubilee.

I loved the blue until I got the SkyD; then it became redundant.

I voted for the blue dial because that was my choice a few months ago.

My recommendation would be blue. If you go win oyster bracelet then either domed or jubilee besel. If you go with jubilee besel either bracelet would work. Attached is what I ended up getting because I feel like I can pull it off with any occasion or just wear it down.

Of course if you buy one and change your mind you can always change the dial later.
Rolex will change dials as long as it's for the same reference, people tend to do it when it's in for service although it will cost you and you don't get your original dial back.

I have a blue YM so I chose black. Chose the smooth bezel to tone it down a bit for work. LOVE the jubilee bracelet!!

The dials I like are

I like the Rhodium with a smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. I like the stealthier look of this one.
However the pictures that people have posted of the jubilee bracelet and flutted look nice.
I like the white dial too because of it’s legibility. I prefer this dial with a flutted bezel and jubilee bracelet.

Your photos, imo, show how the black dial can look very different, depending on the light.

Thanks to everyone for your comments and vote.

Blue, so far is a clear favourite.

The blue is pretty sharp. For dj, I’d be more inclined to go grey or blue. I’d leave the blacks for my sports watches.

Good to know this! Perhaps a dj is in my future knowing I’d have this flexibility.

Blue dial, smooth bezel and oyster bracelet. Stunning!
The fluted gold bezel and jubilee bracelet is just a bit to girlie for me.
Reminds me too much of my better half’s DJ!
But each to his own!

I voted blue with the fluted bezel and on the jubilee bracelet. That's high on my list for 2018.

I’ve got the blue and the Rhodium dials and have always Regretted not getting the silver .
The blue looks nice on all the Rolex websites photos but only really looks good on a real sunny day , which when you live in England and work in Siberia like me is very rare.
Go have a look at the silver in the showroom before you buy

Holding the minority view as usual, I went with the MOP diamond dial, jubilee and fluted bezel. I think it's quite stunning.
