I keep vacillating between Stainless Steel, smooth bezel, oyster bracelet, blue face or...
Two Tone, smooth bezel, oyster bracelet, black face.

I vote blue and from what you wrote, it seems you already voted blue too :)

Just bumping this one, to see whether members views are still the same.
I am struggling to locate the blue dial 126334 here in the UK.
Spoke with a couple of AD's that I have purchased from before, and after checking with Rolex, they both came back saying that there was currently a 6 month wait on them.
Though both dealers were keen to push both the black and the rhodium dial version.
Ironically the blue dial 126300 is more readily available.

Rolex will change dials as long as it's for the same reference, people tend to do it when it's in for service although it will cost you and you don't get your original dial back.
...unless your original dial is a diamond dot dial. Then you get it back once the new dial is fitted. Info from RSC St.James

To the OP, I guess you're going SS? My choice was TT...

Go Rhodium! And fluted bezel! This combo won't disappoint you at all! The way the light reflects in that dial and especially on that white gold bezel is a beauty for this watch! A superb dress watch that you can also dress down with jeans and a T-shirt.

I posted a while back that the blue dial dj41s and dj2s seemed thin on the ground [ in the uk] which sounds crazy for a dj but with you now being quoted a six month wait ,, appears it may have some creedence,,,,,
I woud have had a rhodium dial on oyster with fluted if the blue dial was unavailable,,looks great in the flesh
All the best when she finally arrives,,,,,

Looks this good in the flesh! A classy looking watch! Both dressy and sporty when you need it! Go for rhodium dial with fluted bezel!

I wanted smooth bezel, steel, and in order I liked the blue and silver best and pretty equally, then rhodium. I really didn't like the black or white with the smooth bezel. I went with silver.

Really depends on the bracelet and style. I love the SS with the blue dial and oyster band as a sportier look. For TT, it is the silver dial with a jubilee bracelet for a dressier look.

Well I managed to locate a blue dial 126334 from an AD.
Hopefully going to view it soon.
But I am still undecided between blue or black dial!
I think that the reason, why I can't dismiss the black dial, is because of the sunburst finish and how it helps change the depth of the colour.

Blue dial for me. I had a Silver for years and as my eyes got older the silver dial and WG hands became impossible to read, especially outside. Rhodium looks really nice too.

Black reminds me too much of Sport models which are almost always Black dials. Need some variety.

They have a Sundust dial on the TT which looks really great. I wish that was offered on the SS. But still I'm going with blue.

Is Sundust dial only on RG TT?

Blue, fluted, jubilee. I have no blue watch currently so it'd be a nice addition to the black, white, silver and green.

I am getting the sense that black dials are best suited for the "Sports Range"
Which leaves either Blue or Rhodium?

At the risk of being ostracized...has anyone put a leather (exotic or otherwise) strap on a 126300?

I know Everest (which i have happen to like a lot) does not accommodate this watch.

Anyone? Any suggestion?

I went with the black dial, jubilee bracelet, fluted bezel for my purchase. Blue looked good sometimes, not so good other times, very light dependent. Black looked classy all the time, either with a suit or with jeans and a t-shirt.

Blue, smooth dial. Fluted looks amazing until you've been wearing it every day for 5 years and the fluting wears down with rounded edges and becomes dull dull dull. There's no bringing back those sharp contrasting edges. The smooth bezel can be polished. Just look at old DJ's.. you know what I mean.

But you can't go wrong with the blue, black sunburst, rhodium, or even silver.

I tried the Rhodium with Jubilee on at the Boutique in Paris. Never had a thing for a DJ before that. Now, it's second on the list behind a Batman. Really nice looking!

I would choose blue. My oldest son (second child) turns 40 this year, my wife wants to buy him a Rolex DJ and I know he likes the blue dial with a smooth bezel. So I'll vote with wallet for blue as well.

It’s amazing how the blue dial gets all the love from almost all the Rolex lineup!

Yes I believe so. I'm not a TT person, but the RG/SS Sundust is a beautiful watch.
