Extra Links
I am interested in eventually getting a vintage/used datejust, probably a mid eighties one. My questions are:
How easy is it to get additional links in case I need one or two? Would I need to send it to Rolex or can ADs get and install links? Would these links be of the same relative age, wear marks/patina? Thanks |

It would be easy, but you have to bring the watch in to the AD or Rolex dealer. The links will be brand new and most likely recently produced, so no patina or wear marks. I am guessing they need to be ordered.

I call my AD with bracelet model, if they don't have it in stock takes a couple weeks. They will ship directly to me...nearest AD is over an hour away. i usually install myself

I am lucky to live in Dallas. Take the watch to RSC, wait ten minutes. All done.
