Photos were horrible - I forgot to bid on it.
Sketchy listing but a steal if it is legit

Dial relumed at best. Looked like a fake case to me. Bracelet also aftermarket. look at crown guards...looks nothing like my 3 7016s.
You avoided a hassle. |

That is because it was not a 7016 but a 65/66 7928 ; ) Photos are horrible but I think, *think* it was legit

I was pretty sure she was a 1964 7828. The start bid was $2423. I offered $2500 because I'm a tool. When I made the offer there were 6 other competing offers. It sold for an offer of $6000. Good deal if she is what I think she was.

I also saw this, but didn't put in an offer - don't know enough about vintage tudors. But I thought it looked ok. Case was nice and fat, but not sure if original. Hopefully it'll turn up somewhere we can have a better look at it.

Winner must have put a long 5 on it. Either way, it was a steal. This was another exceptional one IMO. A friend owns a similar serial range and an identical config of the dial, however the case and lume on this dial are both outstanding. Perhaps slightly expensive considering the service insert, however the dial is seldom seen with such patina, and IMO worth it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Rolex-....m43663.l44720 |

Not the same watch. The watch on Ebay was a 64/65 Rounded CG, T SWISS T Silver Print. The watch in the link is a 1963 PCG SWISS Only Underline

Do these 62-68 rose subs sell well at this money? Seems that snowflakes are 30% cheaper and sell quick. Am I delusional?

Interesting. Military Provenance, if proven, adds the value. Quote:
66-67 nor chapter ring 7928 models tend to price below flakes. Condition though, is obviously a big factor.

Wow, what a steal.
I saw that, but didn't like the re-lumed dial or what looked like a re-lumed dial to me. |
