2008 Submariner Purchase

Have been lusting after a pre-ceramic sub for a long time. finally pulled the trigger.

purchased a 2008 submariner. there was a 2001 with holes case, and a 95 with holes case. no brainer for me to get the 2008 no holes. one thing, engraved rehaut and solid end links. sharp edges also, so polishing was done well IMOP. told to look for that and feel it. they are sharp.

it had been fully serviced and I got it from a jeweler who has been selling rolex and other fine watches for over 30 years (not an AD). 1 year warranty through them. forget the guy's name, but one of the biggies in Philly serviced it.

so far, she is about +4.5 per day (wearing all day, dial up at night). i need to experiment with diff dial positions to bring that +4.5 back some at night. but, first, i want to go a week (had her almost 5 days) and see what she averages 1st. so far, about +4.5 per day

any advice?
