This is an aboslutely phenomenal read. The Sea Dweller/Submariner, and the diving experiments of the 60s/70s is what got me into Rolex, and into owning the 116610LN I have today. I may be only 24, but this made me feel like I was 14 again learning about Comex in my biology class.

An SAS drinking mate of mine showed me his Rolex Sea Dweller in a pub in Hereford. 'See this, waterproof down to 4000 feet, it even has a helium escape valve'!
