New Day Date!

Just got this back from my watchmaker. See previous posts for how it looked, — I replaced the dial / strap, and added endlinks. Came out beautiful imo.

Obviously the case is very polished. My question is whether you guys think it’s worth it to swap out the bezel here. If I can do it for ~<$1,000, do you think it’s worth it?

I would keep it as is. Looks well worn and even. A new bezel might throw off the "balance"

Interesting. I hadn’t thought about this. Maybe I’ll just keep it as is.

Don’t throw more money at it and keep the current bezel. It looks great as is.

Just wear and enjoy wearing it in good health for the 20 plus years forget about the bezel.

What a beautiful watch. I'd leave it alone but you do you.

Looks like it's from a time when Rolex were still numerate when it came to applying romans to a dial.

Great watch and I like it just the way it is. I think a vintage/retro look for this watch is the way to go. Enjoy.

I myself wouldn't change a thing about that watch.

It looks perfect!

Crisp edged bezel on that case would not look good in my opinion. It’s a nice curvy and should be appreciated for what it is. Enjoy it!

Thanks everyone. I’ve decided to keep it as is.

It’s funny what a facelift can do. When I posted this less than a month ago, I was told to not go through with the purchase because of the over polishing. Happy I decided to go with my gut.

Thanks for the input!
