Agreed.

That said, there's a reason why a lot of pieces sit at ADs. :)

My AD told me last week Rhone was not expecting any deliveries for 5212A for the next 2 weeks, he was hoping end of August or beginning of September.

This is probably the case world wide as none have turned up yet on the secondary market at Chronos 24.

Great, I am number 5 on the waiting list, I would probably get one by end 2030, the only problem is that my AD didn’t mention if it was morning or afternoon.

It's all over Patek's Instagram this past weekend. Does it mean they have started to deliver? Very keen on it (on AD's list) but a bit concerned with the large 40 mm size.

Deliveries in the US have definitely started. My AD received at least one in their August delivery.

Does anyone know a lug-to-lug measurement for the watch?

The demand for the 5212A is crazy seems like stainless steel Nautilus/Aquanaut level.

Wow this date window...screams "$500 mall watch". Cope it with the weird wonky font, and if I didn't know it was a genuine Patek product, I'd put a wager that it is an $50 fake from the beach kiosk in Turkey (obviously, face up only). Not my cup of tea and even more so at $35K.

I was going to ask if you have seen the piece in the flesh but I note this kind of post is your normal modus operandi so I will just say constructive posts are generally better than confrontational ones.
