Tempted (again)
Hi all,
I used to own a 312 but sold it awhile ago and still have these great straps laying around. I was looking for a new watch to fit the straps and was considering less expensive 24mm watches like the SAS SEA-01, Halios, etc. However, starting to realize that what I really want is probably the 312 again. One thing that bugged me about the watch was the rotor noise. I thought I remembered reading that this was an issue with some of the early production models. Is this true or do most of them have this noise? Thanks, Chris

Hearing the rotor on the 312 is normal. The early "issues" were generally related to the watch stopping all together. It happened with mine when I owned one.

I rarely hear the rotor on my L series and when I do it's a 'gritty' kind of sound. The rotor also doesn't rotate as freely as most other automatic movements. Initially, it unnerved me enough that I sent it to PSC but they reported it to be trouble free. I've had no issues with it otherwise.
