Your favorite vintage strap?
I'm just about to get a vintage strap besides my OEM ones. Saw the ones from Micah, which look great.
But wondering: what is your favorite vintage strap and buckle and why? Don't mind pictures Thanks |

I'm waiting for a vintage strap to be made too. Hopefully I'll get it by the end of the month. I'll be posting pics too.

Again, personal preference.
There is no clear winner, just what you like on your wrist. I've seen some incredible wontoncraft's, kev's, piotr's, micha's, codman's, rob's, apb's, etc There are brands I don't like that I won't mention that others love. So, it doesn't matter. One of my favorite straps I have ever seen (I don't own it) was supposedly a super cheap strap (in the area of $50) that the makers is out of leather on.

I dived into the aftermarket strap pool before my 312 even arrived...so many great choices to pick from. I've got a few so far, looking forward to many more. Out of my current options, the Codman Vintage Ammo is by far my favorite (and my only vintage) for the following reasons: the history behind old mil leather intrigues me, the smell of the leather is another huge +, love the GPF buckle for the history behind it, I also highly prefer the extra tail length for aesthetic reasons.
Thinking hard about ordering a Metta strap from Micah as well...extremely awesome story behind the leather. http://vintagerstraps.com/zstraphtml/mett.html |
