Miniature Wonderland

Hi everyone,

Visited the Miniature Wonderland in Hamburg this morning. If you are into trains then this place will blow you away. The largest indoor train track in the world & the details are out of this world. Each and every light works.

What stole the show for me was the functioning airport. Simply insanity.

And check out the control center.

I love this stuff. That control room is just like a production room for TV. Thanks for sharing.

I had the chance to spend 3 days in Hamburg a few years back. This is quite literally the only thing from there I could remember. And the fact that someone dated a Chicago FD helmet (my father is a battalion chief of a chicago suburb)

how cool...just goes to show that model railroading is more of an adult hobby/outlet than a kid's toy.
