New to forum and hope to meet some new friends here.

Hamilton is a heirloom from my grandfather, and the Tissot was the first watch i bought 25 years ago...rest are my collection started about 5 years ago. It's a work in progress~

Welcome to TRF Funny thing is I have my grandfathers Hamilton as well...when people see my pieces they say "whats that?" when they point to the Hamilton, I answer them "thats priceless, thats what that is"

Yeah, my father bought the Hamilton for my grandfather. I remember him wearing it all his life. It was a priceless gift to me.

nice pics is there any reason/history for that panerai model having romans and arabics on the dial? not seen that model before interesting design

It's called a "California Dial" half Roman and half Arabic numerals. It's part of Panerai line, but story has it originated from Rolex.

I was skeptical of Panerai before (due to its size) but the California dial won me over. I love it, and one is enough for my collection~
