Hahahaha, don't worry I feel fine, unless a heart attack tonight, have a good heart so few chances, or an accident on the taxi, or a plane crash, I will be there on time, my curse is just with Basel, the only 2 times I got really sick, were at the last 2 Basels, never attempting to go there again, I can guarantee you that 100%

What the guilloche does is allow the colours to change and of course the light reflecting igives it beautiful hues

Karl,

What is the connection between Jurgensen and Kari. I see the case designs and hands are very similar between the two. I think there was collaboration at some point but I do not know for certain. I have two UJ and think they are top notch.

Bob,
I have spoken to both parties about the influence and Kari is a bit more muted. However the UJ design has been around longer than KV so we have to say that the hands and lugs were originally UJ. In 1996 he finished his prototype pocket watch which Baumberger of UJ tried to buy. KV didn't sell but worked / collaberated with UJ for many years including the UJ escapement I think. Both fantastic brands at different price points. KV allows more bespoke whilst UJ is off the rack.

You guys won't believe it but I woke up at 4:45, took the taxi, no accident, and am waiting for boarding in Paris.

And I put down 3.000 at Vegas on me collecting, so 100-1 will be a great payoff day anyways now only the plane could not arrive or Kari jave a problem coming, the suspense is intense

Well the odds were wrong, too bad I couldn't put 3000 at least, would've been payday, and 33% would have bee enough to commission another KV or some other one maybe Roger Smith, which would have lasted 4-6 years to arrive
